Average convention type hotel

Could Have Been Better...

My family and I visited Stone Harbor July 20-22, 2006. Overall,this is a beautiful facility which is suffering from a lack of competent service, particularly in the restaurant and bar.

On the positive side, the resort itself was gorgeous, set right on Sturgeon Bay with a nice brick walkway along the water. Great location!

The hotel room was very clean, very roomy and comfortable. The resort itself was very nice and had a great location. We only ate in the hotel the first evening and the service was not very good. We went into the dining area and asked if we could sit outside. The bar area was empty inside, but the outside was full according to the hostess. I turned to my husband to see what he wanted to do and a couple behind us came up and were seated in the dining area. The hostess did not come back and see what ... kadykel, a user of Tripadvisor.
