I was going to the Ocean Key resort in Virginia Beach, for a bachelorette party. I checked the reviews on this site, after the hotel was booked, and I got a little nervous. But I figured it was just for a night and we wouldn't be spending that much time in the room, so it couldn't be all that bad. We arrived at the beach around 2pm, and had attempted to check in, but the girl working the front desk had told us that check in wasn't until 4pm. Also, in response to the other reviews, yes it does smell in the lobby, maybe because the indoor hotel is right across from the front dest, bzzare.
