Excellent hotel, reasonable rates, good for Kings Dominion visits

This resort is very well run, has spotless, well-appointed rooms, a nice tavern restaurant (with excellent crab cakes and nice microbrew on tap), and recreational facilities including outdoor pool and hot tub (with nearby fire pit for kids to make s'mores!), golf course, horseshoes, basketball court, etc. We booked a one-night stay over Memorial Day weekend and paid a AAA rate of $98; it was well worth the price, especially compared to the awful ...
