It never occurred to me, when paying $200.00 a night to CHECK to see if the place had a.c., or a blow dryer, or complimentary coffee. Man, these are "givens" even in a Motel 6. I don't quite understand all these negative reviews. We stayed at Ascutney for 2 nights during the February vacation week. we had a great time! Let's get this out of the way ASAP. This was a terrible season for snow. No snow means no skiers, means no $, means snow guns are off. That's the ugly truth. A bad season like this can't be absorbed as easily by a smaller place like Ascutney. So, the conditions were pretty bad. The liftlines were non-existent. That made up for the ...
