worst trip ever

Well I figure this will never get posted but here we go. To start we ask for assistance with a problem that started at the campsite which if the staff had helped the guy get his place there would have not been a problem to start. Not As Advertised!

The campground was not even close to the representations made in the brochures and on-line pictures. It was dated and overcrowded. The staff was rude and indifferent. Do not stay at Pirateland!

We stayed at Pirateland during the extreme heat wave of Aug. 2007, and our stay could not have been worse. The campground really talks itself up on the web, but upon arrival you soon realize it is just plain trash. The "lakes" are filled (and I mean filled) with all kinds of trash, milk jugs, pla... The entire experience was exceptional. From check in to check out we did not have a single problem. The gate guards were courteous and knowledgable as was the rest of the staff. Been going there for years

I have been going to Pirateland since I was a pre-teen (am now in 20s) and have always enjoyed it. We never camped but always rented a trailer for 1 week in august.
