Do not stay at Pirateland!
We stayed at Pirateland during the extreme heat wave of Aug. 2007, and our stay could not have been worse. The campground really talks itself up on the web, but upon arrival you soon realize it is just plain trash. The "lakes" are filled (and I mean filled) with all kinds of trash, milk jugs, plastic bags, drink bottles, ect. The bathhouses were covered in ... Jenafreaka, a user of Tripadvisor.
