Bare Bones But Not Bad

Review of Tanglwood Resort in the Poconos Bare Bones But Not Bad! Our on-line reservation agent had told us that we would be next to the main building with all the amenities. We were actually about a ¼ mile hike away from the main lodge. The ad for Tanglewood lists access to the lake as an amenity. Technically this is true because the resort owns a small marina where boats can be docked. However, there is no swimming allowed in the lake at the resort’s access! Disappointing Accomodations

We booked our stay through our timeshare company RCI the picture of the resort was not how the resort looked that we stayed in. There are many different areas to the Tanglwood Resort - the one we stayed at was very old and run down. We were not aware that it would take us about 15 minutes from the main building to get to our unit. It was difficult at first to find the Yatch Club road that would take us down ...
