There is a much better State park beach in the area, i.e., Mentor Headlands and there are far better places to party the night away such as the Flats district in Cleveland but the Geneva on the Lake /Geneva State park beach area has a certain nostalgic attraction all it's own that keeps people coming back year after year during the hot summer months. more on Epinions.com

R. 534 and one mile south of Geneva on the Lake is a charming little State park beach complete with picnic tables, modern restroom /changing facilities, ample parking, a clean sandy beach approximately 1/4 mile in length by 100 feet in width perfect for a day of swimming, sunbathing or just laying back and checking out the scenery. more on Epinions.com
