For a state park this place is worth the trip. Plan to stay at least a few days. It's really a seasonal place with everything you would want in the middle of nowhere. Salt Fork Was Great We Go Back There Every Year

I liked the pool how clean it was and I'd stay there every chance I get. Why it's clean nice rooms farn out pool. I loved the Wildlife Lounge. Also I liked how you only had to pay 50 cents or 1 dollar to play pool. I liked the live DJ at the wildlife lounge. You could get up and pick a song and s... Great location, nice lodge, but awful restaurant!

The approach to the lodge is a beautiful drive through the park. The lodge itself is impressive and the hotel staff is friendly and helpful. The furnishings in the hotel are attractive but the beds are uncomfortable. The indoor pool was very plesant.

home away from home

I have stayed here many times, we come once a year. The location is remote, beautiful, and away from all distractions. The employee's at the lodge are super friendly, and helpful.
