Excuse me Dave, I've been going to Depe Dene resort since i was 1 year old. I think its awesome. For everyone who had second thoughts about going to Depe Dene, think again because it is amazing. Will not return
My family and I stayed at the Depe Dene Resort June 29-July 6, 2002. We were very disappointed. About a week before our arrival date (too late for us to make other reservations), we were notified by the resort that their swimming pool was not in operation due to repairs. We'll go back again and again!!!
Wonderful staff - always helpful. All the comforts of home, with easy access to six flags, Lake George center, and more! Great beach, paddle boating with the kids was a blast! Terrible! Judging from there web site, and price per room it was a very nice place to stay. Upon our arrival we could not believe the terrible condition of the room. Ceiling trim falling down, grerasy dirty dishs in the kitchenette cabinet. Stained washed clothes that looked like they had been us... a user of Tripadvisor. Read full review on TripAdvisor

Love the Depe Dene!
Our first trip to Depe Dene was last year, 2002 and because of the great time we had --we're headed back for 2003. The cottage was very nice, clean, air conditioned.
