First off, that second review must be about some other place. This lodge is not anywhere near downtown. It is IN Lake Mead National Recreation Area, about .25 miles (maybe less) from a Park Ranger station; it is between the park road ... more on Yahoo! Travel

Do not let the internet fool you! This motel is more like an old run down motel 6.
It is in a downtown part of area, you do not fell safe when you arrive. They say it is about 5 mins away from the strip; more like 30mins! ... more on Yahoo! Travel
