Rock Creek Resort - Always Two Thumbs Up!
I have stayed at the Rock Creek Resort in Red Lodge, MT, on several occasions over the years, and have ALWAYS had a completely good experience, including this time. I travel a whole lot, and it ranks high among my very favorite spots to stay. I had not been there since 2003 and in September, 2007, found it unchanged. This is both the good and the bad news. Other reviewers have commented that it needs a little polish, and I agree, starting with the resort sign along the road that could sure use a paint job. The bathrooms are particularly out-dated in style - and have been as long as I've been staying there - although everything in our room in the Grizzly Condominiums building was decent, perfectly clean and in good working order. We very recently stayed at Rock Creek Resort (late July 2006) and had a terrible experience. The "deluxe suite" we had reserved was less than "deluxe" --- our beds were Murphy beds that folded down from the wall with extremely uncomfortable mattresses. ... By A Yahoo! Nice surprise
We just returned from a Yellowstone vacation. As we drove into Red Lodge from the gorgeous Bear Tooth Pass, we noticed Rock Creek Resort.
