Clambake on the Beach

Not perfect but what is perfection anyways...

We stayed at the Top Mast during the last week of June 2007, in building 3, room #3201. The temperature was very nice (70-90), but windy during the first two days. We are a family of four and our children are 6 and 8 years old. We were looking for a clean and affordable Motel or Hotel with a pool, and located directly on the beach - when you have young kids, it is a MUST and it really worth the extra money having everything nearby (bathroom, fridge, lunch, toys, pool, etc.). I went to North Truro many times with my parents when I was much younger… and it seemed again a good choice to spend one week with my family. I first looked at South Yarmouth and Dennis Port but I preferred North Truro mainly because it is less crowded and the Motels and Hotels are not jam packed all together. Super Beach Vacation

We visited the Top Mast resort for the July 4th week arriving on Saturday and leaving the following Saturday, we were able to get a weekly rate. I found the Top Mast after reading the reviews on Trip Advisor and I am so happy I did! From the outside the place looks like a regular hotel but upon stepping inside the whole room had been updated. New counters, tiles, rugs and decor including a new sliding glass door that led on to a brand new deck. From the deck, you took a step down and then the next step you were on the sand.
