Not what it used to be

We have tried the Sounding severalk times over the years. Unfortunately each time has beennless and less of a value.
The prices keep going up, but the property just keeps getting older and less attractive.

Just OK, That's all
It was just OK, that's all I can say. We had two free nights booked through a travel agency (long story). We called the Soundings mutiple times to confirm, then drove out from MN only to find they had canceled our reservation when the travel agency sent the check to the wrong office. They then bo... The Soundings rooms are small, and outdated and the bathrooms need complete renovation. There are much superior accommodations available, but I guess if you have a name and a following, you can live off of it-for a while. Right on the water
You get what you pay for. We booked last minute, they had no 3 night minimum and it was relatively inexpensive for the high season on the cape.
