Another "one person's" opinion! HORRIBLE PLACE!

Aaaah...Linekin Bay Resort...let me list the reasons why people should NOT stay here! First, no room keys--- because there are no locks on the doors!? Dirty underwear from the room's previous ... NewJerseyAndy, a user of Tripadvisor. Read full review on tripadvisor

LBR is HEAVEN!

God Stayed more than a day at Linekin Bay Resort!! My grandparents were the first ones to discover LBR, back in 1960's. My husband & I joined the legions of devoted fans in the early 1980's and with rare exceptions, hadn't missed a year since then, until we moved to Florida. A family resort like none other in New England

As the resort world becomes one, giant, homogenized super resort like Atlantis or any Four Seasons, it becomes harder with each passing season to find anything which is authentic or in our case , "Downeast New England." If you're seeking marble tubs and a concierge lounge, this place is not for you, but if you hunger for that unique charm of a bygone era, Linekin Bay Resort is one of the last available chances you'll have. For 60 years vacationers who might otherwise be boarding a cruise ship or flying off to five star resorts have been coming to this relaxed Downeast resort-cum camp to go sailing with their children, satiate themselves on Maine seafood and spend a truly unique week with their family. Linekin Bay Resort was named a top family place to stay in the April 2003 edition of Parents Magazine, and lauded with equal enthusiasm in many other travel publications. The resort has been owned and operated by the same family for almost 60 years and operated as a summer camp until it was converted to a family resort in 1946. It has a loyal patronage with a large number of guests who have been ... CapeCodTODAY, a user of Tripadvisor. Read full review on tripadvisor
