Wrapped up business in Peoria early, so had some exra time on the road with my family. Clueless hick management
Because I lived in this area -- some thirty years ago -- we decided to stay a night just to see how this noble concept of highbrow "resort" in hog-farmland was working out. My best guess is that the current property manager is a clueless hick. It appears that someone originally gave some thought to the ambience of the lobby (muted jazz, beautiful marble floors, a grand piano)... but juxtaposed to this: cheap fake mismatched flowers in every nook and cranny, numerous ... kjsdunn, a user of Tripadvisor.
