Hot and Windy
We had two rooms and they were OK. It was hot while we were there and the air conditioning was a window unit that really only cooled the family room. The bedrooms had no cooling and especially the bedroom closest to the entrance was always hot and close. They have a lot of rules giving the impres... PhotoTraveler558, a user of Tripadvisor. Excellent View and Value
My wife and I stayed at Island Sands Room #107 for a week in May, 2006. Although we heard many comments about being "windy" and sometimes "smelly" (from cane refinery) in Maalea, we didn't really find this to be the case. It seemed to be windy all over the island. We found it to be a good central... SnorkelTom, a user of Tripadvisor. Read full review on TripAdvisor
