Cheerful, helpful front desk. King bedroom a little small, but bath dressing area larger than average. Coffee always in lobby and basic continental breakfast. The rooms were clean and the staff was nice. The grounds are nice. But, The lighting in the rooms was awful. They need a full length mirror in the rooms. Not the best place unless you have Lot's of money and are showing it ! My wife and I were wearing shorts when we entered and we read a notice on the front door , proper dress requened. I do not know how this resort has bad reviews! We were impressed from the time that we walked through the front doors. The Lodge has a warm at-home feeling and the staff was so friendly and made us feel like their special guests in their own home during our entire stay. We loved being in the Lake...
