Perfect Slice of Old Florida

My wife and I spent a week at The Captiva for our first wedding anniversary. After searching various travel sites, I contacted the resort directly to get a little firsthand information and see about upgrading our room. This proved to be a valuable step in our process, as Captiva's owner, Robert Ispaso, gives the travel sites availability of only a couple of his smaller units. So, we booked directly with Robert a "Nick's Niche" unit. We were looking for a slice of Old Florida near Crescent Beach on Siesta Key. We wanted quiet, privacy and well-maintained accomodations with great service. Robert, his staff and The Captiva did not disappoint. The Captiva's slogan is "The Picture Perfect Place," and it couldn't be more accurate. The resort is situated on Sara Sea Circle, along with several similar, but certainly not equal, facilities. Clean, friendly staff (felt like family), nice, quiet and safe location.

Nice, clean, conveniently located
