Gorgeous condo

Condo: We rented this condo directly from the owner. The resort had some good prices but I found a motivated owner who quoted a very reasonable rate. The condo was fantastic. We were on the 13th floor with an unobstructed view of the gulf, bay, and island. Every thing was new and the place was spotless. All the appliances and furnishings were high quality. Lovely property - but more a condo than hotel

Our daughter was swimming in a meet in Pensacola so decided to take family and elderly grandparents for a mini-vacation. This property is more of a condo-resort than a hotel. Since we were not prepared for that, we made several mis-steps. Portofino for Families

We rented a 3BR condo directly from the owners for our large family group (2 couples w/kids, older parents). Compared to other rental properties and hotels on Pensacola Beach, Portofino has so much more for the money. This property is just fine guys!

Okay folks, here's the real deal on this condo property! i have read through all the reviews, and they are all over the board...and i booked my room BEFORE i read all these reviews...and so i was really nervous before we got there. But we are back from our stay, and i felt it necessary to tell you all about what i thought of the stay. First of all...it's a beautiful property and we got there at 4 pm and our room was ready. we got to our room and it was spectacular. not extraordinary, but i would reserve that for maybe the mansion in dallas, the princess in scottsdale or the kea lani/four seasons in maui. but this is the nicest room i've stayed in on a beach [besides hawaii] EVER! seagrass furniture, granite counters, nice kitchen amenitites, DVD in each room [bedrooms and living], heavy blackout curtains, you get the picture. Most rooms i see at some of these beach condo places are sooo 80's and pastel and miami vice-ish. these are very nice rooms with lots of space. Now be prepared, if you are a room-snob, they DO have fake plants and stuff like that, but i presume that's cuz of the upkeep. They have added a bell-hop service, so you DO now have someone to help bring up your bags and stuff once you check in. we came from dallas, so we had 2 carts full ... photawgtravelor, a user of Tripadvisor.
