Walt Disney World Resort

  • 1950 Magnolia Palm, Orlando, FL 32830

The vast Disney complex is a madhouse of family fun and thrills. It's the most visited amusement park in the world, and covers more then 30,000 acres (about 47 square miles) with no fewer than four separate theme parks inside, as well as water parks, themed pedestrian areas, hotels, and sports opportunities. The Magic Kingdom, the core park, opened in 1971, and the park is still changing and expanding today. Children, of course, will delight not only in the rides and animals, but also in the many "real live" Disney characters who stroll the park. Nevertheless, adults can also have fun here-the park was designed for them, too-and even the choosiest traveler will find something to suit his taste. Four days is considered the absolute shortest amount of time for visitors to spend at the park; even in a couple of weeks, if there are big crowds, it simply may not be possible to see everything.
