From what I've heard from a friend who recently stayed, the pool is now open (april 2011) Our room was excellent, we were on the 14th floor, with an ocean view room. more on TripAdvisor

It's nice to go somewhere and be treated like family, and this guarantees our return! more on TripAdvisor

That means we had lots of room for storing yummy leftovers from the local restaurants in the area. more on TripAdvisor

The other construction /remodeling /repairs going on were the installation of new carpeting, new paint in the hallways of all floors, and improvement to the pool area in general. more on TripAdvisor
