Our first visit to South Seas Resort 06/18/06 (wifes birthday, Bayside Villas)-arrived the place was still under major construction-paid for a king bed got 2 queen beds-restaurant was a major ripoff and the food was horrible-room was warm at night, a /c really wasn't working well-beds were rock hard and my wife and I could barely move the following morning.-we both ended up sleeping in seperate beds due to the bed and a /c issues.-the scenery is beautiful, water is clean and nice Second Visit: 02/16/ more on TravelPost.com

There are plenty of restaurants /shops near by though, so it wasn’t that big of a deal. more on Yahoo! Travel

We were provided with great beach chairs and an umbrella for a few dollars a day (Cabana's also available). more on Hotels.com

This resort has it all - location, facilities, golf - but felt that the room and food did not live up to the cost of the stay. You can find a better value elsewhere in Florida. The resort is large so you are dependent on trolleys ... more on Yahoo! Travel
