My kids absolutely love Sunrise! The thing they love best is that they can do their own thing without having to have mom and dad beside them all day. sunrise is a great place for families to enjoy each others company- moms don't have to cook and that really takes a lot of stress away. the food isgreat, the pool is huge and the owners are helpful and friendly... the rooms aren't like the hilton but we were hardly in our room... it's nice that i... What a dump!
Rooms were old and musty. Sinks leaked. Pool deck had broken concrete and pool bottom was sharp - wear pool shoes! Food was OK but plentiful. I had read about this resort in a book labeled "100 Best Family Resorts in North America". I had stayed at other resorts this book had recommended and been very happy. I went with my husband and 2 children ages 4 and 7. We really couldn't believe how awful our accomodations were. I don't mind basic, but this was REALLY filthy and STUNK.
