My letter to the resort management

09/10/06 To say the least, we were quite disappointed in your facility. Although our room was overall clean and tidy, it was so poorly lit, I couldn’t even see the phone numbers to dial the front desk, and the phone itself was really filthy. It was also extremely dark in the shower stall. The shower bench bottom was peeling apart and was moldy. I was stunned there was no alarm clock in the room. Even ‘Super 8’ has alarm clocks. You claim to be a resort and you don’t? The hallways in the ‘Lodge’ were atrociously filthy. Dirt everywhere. Disappointing

In our room in the lodge, the noise of the plumbing was deafening whenever any guest showered in another room. Getting the right temperature in our shower was difficult. Each light fixture that was designed to hold two light bulbs had only one (dim) bulb. There were long double ridges in the carpet at the foot of the bed.
