Huge Disappointment not 4 star hotel

I would firstly like to say that we had high hope for this hotel. On check in we were advised our room wouldn't be ready until after 4PM - this seems bit late to me but my fault because I didn't check first. After we had waited around we were given room 355 - do NOT stay in this room carpet was bare in places, it was dark and dingy, smelt revolting, the furniture was chipped, kitchen shabby and the shower didn't work. Directions

Take I-5 N and exit onto I-8 W. From I-8, take the exit for Sports Arena/W Mission Blvd. Turn right onto W Mission Blvd and continue. Turn right onto Mission Blvd. The hotel is several blocks ahead on the right.
