We stayed here during the "BoardStock XII" held at the casino down the lake. The room was nice with a beautiful lake view, but the visitors to boardstock staying here were lowlife scum who partied late with loud music until 230am Fri night. Should have asked for more hotel pictures!
After looking at the very nice picture of Skylark Shores Resort, next to the lake, we booked our ""pool-side"" room...bad choice! Turns out to be that the gated pool is in the middle of the parking lot! So instead of ""pool side"" we ended up in a garage-side room of this motel. Although, some of... good changes and relaxing
We stayed here Apr.13-15, I can tell you first hand that they have changed the bedspreads, carpet, curtains and have painted everything. If you enjoy being at the lake, on the water for a reasonable price, book a lakefront room on the second floor. Ours was room 233. Mind you there is no elevator... thechick, a user of Tripadvisor.
