Nice Location, Rustic Rooms
I'll begin this review with a couple of caveat:s we booked this hotel at the end of a full day of driving from Las Vegas, without reviewing the type or quality of the rooms, and, as they only had one cabin left (their nicest), we paid top dollar ($390) for a space that was really too big for just the two ... goodcop, a user of Tripadvisor. hardly a 'Forbes Top 10 Spa
I honestly do not understand how this place could have received all of these rave reviews after our experience staying there. It seems to me that someone connected to this property is telling all of their friends to write these reviews to get business, because I would definitely not stay there again. When we arrived to check in, the office was closed, and we were directed to the spa, not easy to find in a dark place we were not familiar with. Won't be back - Very disappointing experience
We arrived around 4:30 p.m., August 26 for a one night stay. The location was absolutely beautiful. Upon registering we were greeted warmly by the desk agent who changed our room when she noticed it was a handicap room. We then went to make a dinner reservation.
