Problems from the moment of trying to check in which is 4 which is late by by hotel standards especialy since check out is a early 11 am. . Your cc will be authorized a week out and auth again when checking in. They do not advise that they will also auth for $250.00 for damages. So you can have some major holds on your funds. We choose this hotel as a central point for a family gathering. Our plan was to rent a boat for the day and be able to stay at the Lake Tulloch resort that night. We stayed one night and were very disappointed. The hotel was old dirty and outdated. The lock on the door in our room was broken, the curtains were not hung properly on the curtain rod.
