3.0: Calm, quiet oasis, not for kids

We like staying here due to the AAA rates, the size of the rooms, the cleanliness, the quiet, the lovely grounds, large/clean pool and the access to the Anza-Borrego National Park... but maintenance, a person of authority and a staff that understands English is sadly lacking. Basically, management seems totally absent.... I guess they get away with it due to the low summer rates, but during the colder months, one would not be pleased. Since our last stay (2004) they've updated the beds by putting 'pillow top' mattress pads atop the mattresses, which do not make up for the worn saggy mattress. The sheets are lovely as are the pillows, but it doesn't help you sleep if you feel like you're rolling off a bed whose mattress is worn out. We reported it... four times.
