What a treat!
I found the Greenhorn Creek Resort online and booked a one night stay for a very reasonable price. We were going to a concert at Ironstone (only about 10 minutes away) and needed a place to stay. Hidden gem in the Sierra foothills
This resort is a great getaway (2 hours ) from the San Francisco Bay Area. A very nice (and challenging ) golf course, tennis, pools, spa, a wonderful restaurant called "Camps" (good Martini and Bistro menu too ) and all round friendly and efficient service.
