Free drinks, lower hotel rate than what was posted in your book, free shuttles up the road into town and to Wal-Mart, all by the owner of the hotel. more on Yahoo! Travel

I have talked to a lot of hikers on the trail and the ones that have stayed here all enjoyed it and will stay there aging on the next trip up the trail. more on TripAdvisor
