Pretty good, as Econo Lodges go
For a town with a wrecked economy and acres of abandoned houses, Schenectady isn't actually all that cheap a place to stay. This Econo Lodge is inexpensive and very clean -- much cleaner than I expected for the price and location. The staff were friendly and helpful. This Econo Lodge's location was at 940 Jefferson Road, Rochester. It's in a great location; convenient but not adjacent to I-390.
