2.0: "Local character" is vastly overrated.

I recently stayed at the Grand for a series of nights while in Deming visiting my fiance's relatives. This was my second stay at the Grand. The rooms are all right, the beds slightly uncomfortable. The beds themselves have little to no usable blankets - it's like sleeping under an unbreathing polyester sheath of some sort. The air conditioners in the room - a necessity with the hot temperatures in Deming - are extremely loud. You have to keep them on all night, or else you will sweat to death, and they clatter and wheeze whenever they turn on or off. It woke me up several ... A TripAdvisor Member, a user of Tripadvisor.
