My friends and I booked a night at the Mahwah Super 8 on a trip to see some sights in NYC. We mainly booked it for the cheap price.

""This hotel was more than just a dive, it made my skin crawl the moment I walked into my room. stains covered the carpet and saftey was questionable. This stay was unexpected, we had a car problem while traveling home with two dogs. The staff was able to take care of us, on the spur of the moment, and, put our two dogs in the same room for a very reasonable rate. Kudos to Super 8 for being Pet Friendly! The room that says DON'T STAY HERE - EVER!!!
Stayed in room 124 on nite 9/11/07(how appropriate). The smell of mold and mildew vas prevalent everywhere. The wallpaper was bubbling and pealing off the walls.
