While not dirty, it had that feeling of being unkempt just because it was so rundown and old. more on TripAdvisor

Less than 100 yards up the boardwalk is a resort-like Pier Village-with good variety of eating and drinking establishments (some right on boardwalk). more on TripAdvisor

Thursday nights there are free concerts at center pier (about 200 yards up b-walk). more on TripAdvisor
