The Sands is an eclectic bunch of rooms facing an extraordinary view of Little harbor, boats at moorings, coast guard boats, ferries sweeping by, a view of the closer Elizabeth Islands, the tip of Martha's Vineyard, etc. On the tip of the point directly across is a Frank Lloyd Wright Airplane House, a cedar shingled marvel of a mansion. more on TravelPost.com

we have stayed here 2 times and always look forward to going back...the location is great for access to the ferries and walking into Woods Hole...staff is great and accomodating...a wonderfully quaint place to stay more on Yahoo! Travel
