I've been traveling to the Oakland area for many years and am pleased with the renovations made to the now Oakland Motel. more on Yahoo! Travel

Rooms here are clean, newly renovated, and the owner and staff go above and beyond helping with directions, etc. One has to remember when traveling to this area that all motels here are pretty much motor lodges. more on Yahoo! Travel

Contrary to the other Yahoo reviews this motel is a good two classes of quality below the cheapest of the chains. A/C was ineffectivs, baseboards were missing in the bathroom, the tub was loosing its finish (in the drain)etc. Clean ... more on Yahoo! Travel
