My son is 18 and can fight in Iraq but can not check in at this "motel

I made a reservation via Expedia for my son, who is 18, for 4 nights. When I called the next morning to confirm the reservation, I was told that he would not be able to check in as he was not 21. I called the Chamber of Commerce in Brunswick and was told the law is 18. This "motel" thinks their "policy" is above the laws of their state! I called back and asked to speak to a manager and was told she was not in yet. I let the clerk know this was urgent as my son is getting on a bus in less than 24 hours. No call back in 2 hours so I called again and this time was told the manager had got my message but was out "running errands" and, no, they would not allow my son to check in.
