The staff is very friendly and accomodating. There is a new "Happy Hour", "Get aquainted" party in the evening with free beer/wine/soda for several hours and some nights Subshop sandwiches are served. Good value and convenient location

This Holiday Inn Express is located in Port Allen, but the actual distance to Baton Rouge is only about 5 miles straight across the Mississippi bridge. NOT IN BATON ROUGE!
When booking this hotel I was looking to stay in Baton Rouge, which is where this hotel claimed to be. This was not the case however.
