Clean and cool 50's motel
The Big Pine Motel is your typical wayside rest, probably built in the 50's. They have done their best to make it comfortable. Not very good
My husband and I stayed at the Big Pine Motel on the night of July 11, 2004. For the price and from their website, I wasn't expecting too much. Even taking that into consideration, a night's stay at this motel is not worth the $79 (plus tax) that they charge you. There were ants all over the room... I come down to the keys at least once a year for deep sea fishing. This place has been here a long time, and is solid as a rock!
