Good Enough
Attended a wedding at The Water's Edge and opted not to pay their $300 p.night rate, stayed at the Super 8 for the weekend. Room rate was reasonable ($89+txs). The room smelled horribly like smoke. Even the sheets and towels smelled (what few we got). I made a non-smoking reservation but when we arrived asked for a room away from the train tracks. Sleepless in Old Saybrook
What is worse? The sound of a car driving over the rumble strips on adjacent I-95, The train whistle in the early morning hours from the adjacent rail tracks or the sound of a truck starting up and idling?
