Best Tahoe City value but it is a 1* property
Tahoe City and Truckee are the most convenient locations for overnight lodging while skiing at Squaw or Alpine. The winter weekends at these locations tend to be very expensive ($130 and up for a 2*). However you can get a motel room at the Tamarack ... giantsfan2, a user of Tripadvisor.
