The things I liked:-the good position in Santa Monica, very close to the pier, main street and 3.rd street.-the very good public transportation service to downtown LA, LAX, Venice etc.-the old fashioned building and rooms.-the good heating in the room (very important in winter also in LA). more on Hotels.com

The beddings look like they have never been washed and dark stains are crusted on the sheets and mattress. more on Travelocity.com

This motel is a sham. They make you pay in full up front and when you look at the rooms which are so disgusting that you turn around and check out immediately to find that they will only refund you a portion of your money. It is dangerous ... more on Yahoo! Travel
