Having stayed in some low priced motels in the San Diego area I have to say the Motel 9 Oceanside is a very nice place. more on TripAdvisor

This hotel is situated right out the front gate of Camp Pendleton so the location was good for us. more on TripAdvisor

However, the free continental breakfast and VCR rental advertised on the building was false. more on TripAdvisor
