The Motel 6 Embarcardero is the best value around. This was the 4th time I stayed there when I visit friends in Rockridge. The staff is very friendly and helpful, the rooms are clean and smell good and the view facing the Port is beautiful! There are two good restaurants nearby and Jack London Sq... The location is excellent; next to the Oakland Marina (for a beautiful view) and close to the I880. Despite its close proximity to the freeway, the rooms were very quiet and secluded.
