Clean, comfortable, quiet bargain
We compared a lot of hotels in and around LA to find a place close to the sights we would be visiting during our vacation to California. We decided on the HI-Lawndale because it was in our price range, had been totally refurbished (new luxury bedding that was SO comfortable, new fixtures, drapes,... OK hotel - not the best location
Hotel itself was ok. Clean. You can tell they are tryiing to pretty it up. It is close to the airport - but not for people on a California vacation. Away from almost everything.
