Quaint old style motor hotel

We have stayed at the Cypress Tree Motel on several trips. We used to stay in Pismo, but have found that over the years, Pismo has become too commercial and too "hip" for its own good. We also stayed once in Morro Bay, but there wasn't too much to do, and the ambiance didn't suit our style. First of all, the Cypress Tree Motel will not be to everyone's liking.... It is, by its name, a "motel"... not a hotel. Let me preface my review that we needed to find a place which accepted pets.... The Cypress Tree readily does this with open arms, as long as the animals are friendly, well-behaved, and basically don't cause a problem....kind of like the humans they would want in their establishment... hey>????!!! This motel felt just like home!

I chose this hotel as I was seeking a few days of relaxation, and I found it! I especially liked the nice large patch of green grass they had, which was equipped with lots of lawn furniture and a bbq. I spent the first night sitting out there and totally ...
