Had to do it!
Stayed there just for fun due to its appearance in "Sideways". It did the trick for the night. Cheap and close to everything we wanted to do (eat, drink wine etc.). Avoid this dump!
Don’t let the windmill fool you. I don’t know where some of the previous reviewers stayed at, but it was not in the room I was in. The place was a dump. I don’t care what movie was filmed there. We were there for a quick weekend trip to Solvang. The room was quite large (room 227), plenty of room to walk around, even with the rollaway folded out. Basic hotel, but good value for the money.
