i had read reviews of the Santa Anita Inn on this site. The grounds are so well maintained, shame about the rooms. The Motel 6 is the only other lodging overlooking the racetrack. This is a big plus. ... more on TripAdvisor

Have stayed here several times. Rooms are nice and clean. No extra amenities so be sure to bring shampoo (didn't the first time and had to make a run to the 99 cent store). Beds firm and comfortable. ... more on TripAdvisor
