It was the worst time of the year. It was dark nearly day and night and freezing ice-rain was pouring out of the sky. Even the stoutedst of Alaskans were tired of winter and waiting for it to pass. Great room for the price

The hotel itself looks rather dark from the outside, but the inside is what I have come to expect outside any major city in Alaska.
